Switch 2 Name Leaked?

So obviously take this with a huge grain of salt, but thanks to a YouTube marketing survey the word is out that the new Switch may be called the “Switch Attach”.

I’m wondering if maybe that just ends up being a codename, or of course it may be nothing at all and is just a mistake. If this is actually the name, it feels way too much like the Wii U situation to me. What do you guys think?

First off, I'll believe it when I see it. But if it is true, and it's not just a code name, then you're right. That would be a Wii U situation all over again. People would think it's just an attachment for the current Switch. That's probably the dumbest name they could ever choose.

It was even dumb to name the first one Wii. Lol

I'll never forget the contest called "Hold your wee for a Wii," and someone died because of it.

Apparently YouTube is notorious for having marketing surveys with something that doesn’t exist to weed out fake responses, so there’s probably nothing to see here. Still, what else do we have to talk about?

I really, really hope it is not named Switch Attach. It sounds like someone asked Claude "given Nintendo's previous naming practices, what would the Switch 2 be called?" and just went with that. I earnestly hope Nintendo execs have not forgotten the lessons taught them by the Wii U

Stupid name that will confuse people and not make any marketing sense at all.

Switch Attach is atrocious, way worse than Wii U.

Nintendo Attach is better, doesn't sound as awkward to say as "Switch Attach" does.

Both are worse than something simple like Switch 2 or Super Switch though.

A single name would be best.
Wii and Switch are words that are easy to remember and it clicks.
Same with like DS.
