Post Lyrics, guess the song
I'm not going to be good at this but I liked this thread on the other forum.
I'll start off easy.
It starts with one thing
I don't know why
It doesn't even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind
I designed this rhyme
To explain in due time
All I know
Time is a valuable thing
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings
Watch it count down to the end of the day
The clock ticks life away
I'll start off easy.
It starts with one thing
I don't know why
It doesn't even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind
I designed this rhyme
To explain in due time
All I know
Time is a valuable thing
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings
Watch it count down to the end of the day
The clock ticks life away

Re: Post Lyrics, guess the song
My favorite song of all time. In The End, by Linkin Park.
Song Lyrics wrote: Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel
Was just a freight train coming your way
Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel
Was just the freight train coming your way
It's coming your way
It's coming your way

Did Cloud "win"? Is that the right song, or what?

It’s the right song, now you’re supposed to guess the song from the lyrics I posted and then post your own lyrics for us to guess.

Medicate by Theory of a Deadman.
Song Lyrics wrote:A new mother cries
Her placenta falls to the floor
The angel opens her eyes, the confusion sets in
Before the doctor can even close the door
An old mother dies
Her intentions fall to the floor
The angel closes her eyes, the confusion that was hers
Belongs now, to the baby down the hall

Doesn't Google make this pointless?

I don't know any songs I guess. Is this Eminem? The lyrics are familiar. The Cloud Strife wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2020 12:06 pmMedicate by Theory of a Deadman.

I mean, I am being 100% honest and fair here. It would be pointless if everyone cheated.

I'd imagine there is basically no way I'd lose at his game, then.
How about this--
"Beef pies! He was born next to the beef pies!
Right underneath Joni Mitchell's autographed picture!
Right beside, Elliot Roberts' big bank book!"

How about...
"Well, I dreamed I saw the knights in armor comin'
Sayin' somethin' about a queen.
There were peasants singin', and drummers drummin'.
And the archer split a tree.
There was a fanfare blowin' to the sun.
That was floatin' on the breeze.
Look at Mother Nature on the run--in the nineteen seventies..."
