By the way, what makes you think this place is going to change in any way in the future? Things aren't exactly hopping here.
My underlying point is that things could change, you never know. And I've found it's always best to be prepared.

And no, I'm not volunteering...
The only conundrum is that nobody on here actually frequents the site.

And I'm sure not volunteering, either. :)

I volunteer to not be a mod. I check the site several times a day but don't always have much to say or much time to say the nothing I have have to say

Usually when you check, there aren't any new posts, anyway.

Fair point

With Drew and Glacier gone though, it feels like there isn’t much to moderate. Everybody’s respectful and nice
Thanks,

All I wanted to do was talk about food and games until your best friend in the whole wide world would barrel in.

I've apologized sincerely for past behavior but I seriously just want a good time.

But overall, right before I attempted to delete this account, not only was I in a dark place mentally to the point I wanted to and somewhat tried to stab myself to death, but also having a troll (who you don't even mention) who specifically logged on because of me for something bad I said about Nintendo 8-9 years ago made me so fed up.

Why would I want to use my real life name as redemption? Why would I talk about very personal things? People who have the intention of causing chaos in an anonymous manner don't do this. I know I was difficult, and I am sorry, and there are reasons behind why I was so messed up due to childhood background. So now that I am not dead yet, I can at least say I have gone past that phase of how I was when the Wii U was around and when the Switch was in its early years which was teenager to young adult.

There's a gaming Youtuber I subscribe to who said it best "If you are a kid or young person in general, I promise you that you will regret acting out online over video games when you are older".

Yes, that is exactly the truth.

To be fair, the first thing you should ever learn about interacting on the internet is that you never give up private information. You should always be on guard when socializing online. That's Internet 101, the thing we teach our kids from the beginning. The internet is a mean place full of predators. You really never should have changed your username to your real name and became so vulnerable. You need to find people in the real world to do that.

I'm not saying that to be mean. It's just life. I hope your mental place isn't so dark now, though.

You should also ge on guard in real life. Humans weaponize things as revenge which is why I wouldn't even trust a significant other completely, have you heard of "revenge porn"? That's just one example out of so many others.

But, it's just my first name. Not my social security number. Do you know my last name? Definitely not there. There are so many people with that common first name that it can work as a username, I even subscribe to a couple of Youtubers with the same first name as me.

Whether I am Joker or Nick it doesn't matter really.

If anything, making an account on here without a VPN is very vulnerable because the admin and all mods can literally see your entire IP address which I find creepy and also just plain dangerous if you piss off the wrong person, people can find you in real life this way and have due to petty arguments online and the outcome was not...let's just say...for hanging out with tea and biscuits. You can actually SWAT someone on here without leaving your chair if you want to commit attempted murder over petty arguments which has happened in the past in this way (literally kids calling a SWAT team on someone over Call of Duty because they knew their IP).

Which is why when I attempted to create a new account last night I was using the TOR browser with my location in Sweden.

But overall I am just trying to show that I am not some random anonymous troll. It's only when Malk's seemingly best friend would intentionally logged in to be a troll towards me that I had enough.

And btw. Your definition of "vulnerable" has been very different from mine. I could have handled things better,, true, however, you seem to think it would be perfectly fine to hypothetically post here about what you've done at a strip club but because you were raised in the exact same environment as me growing up anything "not the norm" even if it is good makes you think someone is "being vulnerable".

I'm tired of not only getting lumped in with an actual troll, but the troll never even being mentioned in this thread by the admin and sounding very suspiciously exactly like OhMyRob by calling me "Glacier" which indicates exactly who is backed up.

And the OTHER Nick.

I use my real name on Switch. So it's definitely cool. Especially if you have a pretty traditional name for a first name, it ends up not being a very unique identifier
