Re: OMG Chat Room
This is pretty rough. Tango was Microsoft's only Japanese studio and while its games weren't blockbusters, all of them received decent-to-good reviews and provided variety to Microsoft's line-up/Game Pass catalogue. Microsoft's Aaron Greenberg was even talking up Hi-Fi Rush just last year, claiming ...

Re: OMG Chat Room
Total brag post but I've finally installed Hogwarts Legacy on my new rig, so my good lady and I can game together (I'm the pilot and she's my wing-woman!). It's got a thing where it runs a benchmark and selects the best settings. I may have actually done a little excited wee when it decided to put ...

Re: Switch 2 Name Leaked?
Switch Attach is atrocious, way worse than Wii U.
Nintendo Attach is better, doesn't sound as awkward to say as "Switch Attach" does.
Both are worse than something simple like Switch 2 or Super Switch though.

Re: Is Emulation nearing its end?
No. Some people are panicking and over-reacting in the wake of the Yuzu settlement because they don't want to be targeted by Nintendo or anyone else, but emulation as a concept and even piracy as a concept aren't going to go away. Yuzu and Citra are both continuing to be distributed by others and th...

Re: February Nintendo Direct?
Pretty decent Direct for a third-party one. Penny's Big Breakaway and Pepper Grinder looked cool. A new Super Monkey Ball is good too. Epic Mickey getting a remake from the same team that did the recent SpongeBob remake and sequel was a bit out of nowhere. It's been more than a decade since I played...

Re: Something going on at Xbox?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGlD9SO3rKU Honestly could've been a press release or even a tweet. --- Spencer confirmed 4 games are going multi-platform, but refused to name them. He specified that they're more than a year old and 2 are community-driven service games while the other 2 are sm...

Re: Something going on at Xbox?
I hadn't heard that, but I was wondering if anyone had heard anything. Yeah, not much of an event. But even that means we actually get some real news straight out of Phil's mouth, instead of just more rumors. But if it's just a podcast, then I don't think we'll be getting some big reveal about the ...

Re: Something going on at Xbox?
This is just my speculation, but I think all of the stuff you said used to be completely accurate a few months to a year ago. But I think more recently, things have changed for Microsoft behind the scenes. I think coming from above Phil's head, they're seeing that the model they were working in and...

Re: Something going on at Xbox?
Personally, I think they're going to get out of the hardware business, altogether. They're taking a significant loss on every console sold, and they're not selling enough to have a big enough market share for it to be worth it for them. They're also still not profitable with Game Pass. I know Death...
